great poll, though u mixed too much, like for example dimebag darell and george harrison on the same poll, it doesn't make sence, power metal and pop! but overall very nice, i voted for vai, but u should have included george lynch, dave murray, and janick jers.

========== In Reply To ========== Metallica kill's Megadeth. Kirk Hammett is a much better guitarist than Mustaine. If Dave was that great of a guitar player don't you think that Metallica would have tried a little harder to keep him around. You know what I mean. And yes Metallica is much better than Megadeth in just about.... no no wait, every aspect. Don't get me wrong I think Megadeth is pretty good. I got a few of their albums. But compared to Metallica, they just don't measure up.

exactly true, and kirk hammett is way better than mustain, and just for the record dave mustain plays rythm for megadeath and not lead, it's marty friedman who plays lead.

========== In Reply To ========== hey first of all i know timmo tolki and i can't beleive i forgot to add himj , i will don't worry. but i have a point, he plays a 100% like yngwie, so he doesn't have anything special, ever since yngwie came up with these faster than the speed of light technics, his style became the most copied.however i will add timmo because he just has somthing else, is that when he plays slow and melodic like blackmoore, he's awsome, so he can play both styles. Then as for micheal angelo, this guy is amaizing but plays pure speed and nothing but speed, wich becomes boring sometimes, and if u think he's better than yngwie and vai, i say think again. and listen deeply to yngwie and vai, and u know that they are two of the absolute best.
