I love both Scott's vocals and Axl's vocals but I think Scott's suited way more to the STP songs. I think a lot of Velvet Revolver songs grow on you after a few listens and people won't give them a chance because they want GNR back together. I hate people who bitch about Scott though because he is an amazing lyricist and singer and people have never heard of him before so won't even give him a chance.

Right, first of all, Chili Peppers are one of the best in the history of music. They have no weak point, Flea is one of the best bassists of all time, Frusciante is a legendary guitar player, every song they do is amazing, no 2 sound the same. And, they're not about making a political message, but they're lyrics are deep, personal and a lot of people can really relate to them. Greenday are just an overhyped pop band who think they're are punks. If you wanna listen to sommat political or summat truly punk, listen to some sex pistols or summat. Greenday are just immitating punk style, and badly. The Chili Peppers are original, and they write moving songs that really speak to you. Greenday are just $%!@e.
