A Nation of Fools

In New Jersey, people seem to think that if voting results are for one person is at least 65%, the vote has been incorrectly counted, has been cheated, or has been mislead in some other fasion.

In one state, one canidate running for governer, died. However, his name was not taken off the voting poll. As it turnes out, he still won, even though he was dead.

An english teacher was reading an old poem that contained the word "Nig*ger." Afterwords, she taught what the word meant. Then, the after hearing a compliant from a black student, the principle came and was put on suppension. She was told never to use the word again.

Dolly, the first mammal to be cloned, spread fear and discomfert in America. In some other countries, this was not a problem.

Is this foolish?

Suppose that a scientist was working on a way to clone his organs (heart, stomic, liver, etc.) to replace his old ones when they failed. He is successfull, and the procedure works. If the story was released to the media, would they claim it was an extrodinary break-through in medical science, or would people be complaining that it was unethical and would never use it.

Would you have the procedure preformed on you if it was your only hope of surviving?

One time, an old lady spilled her hot coffie on herself while driving home. She did not have a accident, yet she sewd Burger King for the coffie. She won and got millions of dollars for it. This is a true story. Remember, it was her mistake, not Burger King's, that she spilled the coffie.

A teenage boy threw only one punch at his friend. He was brought to court and was sentenced 27 years in prison. In some cases, murdering someone is less than that.
