There are a number of polls dealing with clothing limits parents and society sets for kids in public places. With the evolution of civilization, clothing of children has varied, from the minimal dressing of Egyptians and Spartans to the heavy clothing of Victorian era, and the more sensible approach of this century. Based on the increasing awareness of good effects of exposure of fresh air and sunshine to bodies of kids, which may prevent rickets, spinal deformities (scoliosis, kyphosis and lordosis), tuberculosis, etc., can the city government impose limits on the public wearing of clothing? If this is good for health of children, and for the society, in large, is it possible to have an official limit of clothing (mandatory uncovering of certain body parts, head, face, arms, legs, etc.). Of course, there are communities, which impose this restriction on their members: naturist resorts, and some countries, which restrict covering of head or face in public.
Hitari School in Tokyo encouages stripping children to waist in the school and inside home. This poll adresses these issues and what limits would be appropriate for different ages and acceptable to society. As mentioned in the messages area, other than health, there are hygienic, security and economic considerations, which favor such legislation. Kids mean pre-pubertal children less than the age of 11 years. Clothing limits mentioned in this poll pertain to indoor appearances (all weathers) and outdoor appearances (pleasant weather).
