I've been playing as sub now with a symphony for a while. I hope that I can attain a regular position there. I'm not ranked high on my sublist (people who are higher than my rank actually get to play more frequently - starting from the top of the list, subs are called if needed). Choose which statement you agree with more:

If I am promoted to a higher spot on the sublist via a sub audition (where I play w/o the screen for the concertmaster), I would have a better chance for winning a later audition for a regular position there (which is also w/o the screen) than if I didn't take another sub audition.

If I don't take another sub audition, my chances for winning a later audition for a regular position would be just as good as if I was promoted via a prior sub audition.

If I don't get promoted to a higher spot on the sublist despite taking a sub audition, even if I play better than mediocre, my chances of winning a later audition for a regular position would be worse than if I didn't take the sub audition.
