Until the 1970's girdles were a part of every woman's, and some men's, wardrobe. Now all we see advertised is an occasional panty brief. I wonder if anyone still wears a girdle--and the reason(s) why.

It's a matter of principal. A woman (man) shouldn't have to wear a girdle just because society thinks they should.

They are really dumb. Thank goodness nobody makes us wear them anymore.

Girdles have their place for support and figure control, especially if you are chubby.

A girdle can improve almost anyone's figure. If you want your clothes to fit better, wear a girdle.

Society would be better if all women--and maybe men too-- wore girdles. In the 1950's, when girdles were common place, people were much better--and more attractively dressed than now. It all starts with the girdle.
