Husband versus family

I am married to a very dominant man. We have three kids together. I also have three kids from a previous marriage. They are grown. My husband dislikes them. He never wants them around. He is not very nice to my grandson either. I love him with all of my heart. but I am very very close to my children and my grandchildren. We are a very close family. I want to be a great wife, but I also want to be a great mother. To my grown daughters who are having babies etc. They need me now almost as much as they did when they were little. So who should I side with? Should I be a good wife and let my husband tell me when and if I can see my kids? or should I be a good mother and tell him , that my kids come first?
