I apologize in advance for the length of this introduction, and of the poll itself. Please bear with me, and provide honest responses. This poll is concerned only with punishment and disciplinary maintenance spanking, not erotic or otherwise recreational spanking. I’m a 48 year old man in my second marriage, the first of which was just over a year and resulted in no children, while this one is well over 20 years and we have two teenage sons. In college I lived with a mid-20’s couple and their three young children, and summers with my parents. My first wife and I lived part-time with my parents and older brother, and part-time with her parents, 16 year old brother, and 12 year old sister. My present wife and I lived on our own for the first six years, up until our oldest son was born, then we moved in with my parents. Since then (16+ years) we have lived in an extended family including my parents, my wife and I, our two sons, and now a disabled friend has recently moved in with us. I was spanked fairly regularly by both of my parents from my earliest childhood memories up through age 24, and occasionally by my father from age 24 to 34 (and probably still could be if the situation warranted). In college I was spanked by the couple I lived with, along with their children. My first wife’s parents both spanked both of us (as well as their younger children), from shortly after we started dating until just before our divorce was finalized, and she spanked me during this time as well. On a couple of occasions I spanked my first wife, and my mother spanked her once. My present wife started spanking me about two years into our marriage, and has done so pretty regularly since.
