Texas Representative Dr. Ron Paul (R-TX) competed well with Arizona Senator John McCain (R-AZ) in the recent Washington state primary election (McCain 26 percent v. Paul 20 percent). Subsequently, I have been pondering the question of whether Ron Paul might have a chance of beating John McCain in his home state, in the Texas Republican primary on March 4, 2008. If this were to happen, McCain could possibly lose the Republican nomination. I would like to know what Texans think about these candidates and their respective chances of winning the Lone Star State primary.
