Remembering Young Stars

Should we honor celebrities who were taken too young?
Did you know that in Hollywood, California, there is a cultural icon in the form of bronze and terrazo stars set in the sidewalk pavement? They pay tribute to celebrities who have done work in entertainment, media, and the arts.
Yes, I know about that. Everyone does!
No, this is new to me. I don't live on planet Earth!
Most of the names you see there are old/retired, been working a long time, or have passed away. I've been thinking about the young ones who leave us. Do you think it would be a cool idea to have a star named for someone who died too young, but nevertheless touched us? They would be honored posthumously.
Yes, I think that's a great idea! Who is to say how young is too young? If someone did a lot of work, they should be remembered.
No, we shouldn't do that. Those stars are meant to honor a long lifetime of achievement.
Should Heath Ledger get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?
Yes
No
By the way, I have one more similar, yet (slightly) off-topic question. Do you think money should be raised to repair the areas of sidewalk damaged by wear and tear--figuring as the City of Los Angeles is already strapped for cash--by tacking an extra fee onto entertainment professionals' Screen Actors Guild dues? I'm thinking this has to do with a matter of honor and respect.
Yes
No
