Someone needs help!

The scenario is this: a friend of mine likes this girl and from someone else, he finds out that this girl knows (or at least thinks) my friend likes her (which is the truth). Now, my friend is kinda stubborn and me and another friend tries to help, but it doesn't look like he's listening. What do you think he should do?
