WHen I was in grade school (4th grade) we had to stand in the corner as a punishment for doing the smallest things, (such as talking out of turn, or not staying in your seat) It all depended on the mood of your teacher. She gave us a maximum, of 3 warnings, and we were sent, and other times it was instantly, but average, she only gave us 2 warnings. DO teachers STill do this. This was over 20 years ago when I had to do this punishment.
