Working in the beauty industry, a stylist's "look" can be important to the client - what do you look for in your stylist?
Wild colors in the hair, a bold haircut, funky outfits, and plenty of jewelry
Classy clothes, chic jewelry, a modern haircut, and simple, yet rich colors in the hair
Comfortable, yet stylish clothes, fresh-faced, and natural-looking highlights
Fashion-forward, stylish jeans with vintage tops, everchanging haircuts, and fun color
I don't care what kind of style my hairstylist has
Besides having the ability to do great hair, is there any other deciding factor when choosing your stylist?
Availability - I need to be able to get an appointment no later than a week after I call
Timing - I don't want to wait 10 minutes after my appointment time because my stylist is running behind
Price - Even if I am content with my stylist, I may try someone else if they were less expensive
A GREAT head massage - the entire appointment should be relaxing
Age - I would like my stylist to be young and up-to-date with the current styles, or older and more experienced
Compatibility - I need to be able to mesh with my stylist, I want to be able to consider him/her a friend
What is the desired ambience for your salon?
Classic look - russet colors, modern furniture, soft music, identical stations and famous paintings
Urban - Bold colors, loud music, original art, lava lamps, and funky furniture
Spa look - Earthy colors, spa music, small waterfalls, terry cloth robes and herbal teas
Charming - Warm and inviting, pale blue and chocolate colors, hardwood floors, exposed brick, and a more vintage feel
I don't care what the salon looks like as long as I love my stylist
Is it important to you to have a one-stop salon/spa?
Yes, I need the option to have multiple services done (pedicures, waxing, facials) on the same day at the same salon/spa
