The story,What Might Have Been is a story about a 12-year-old boy (yours truly) who feels like he is the only boy in the entire world who uses multiple pairs of plain white boys’ underwear for his diapers, until he meets another boy who exhibits similar behaviors when he sees him in the boys’ locker room during gym class. The two boys become friends and the first boy is forced to make some sacrifices and sever ties with his old friends in order to pursue his newfound friendship. This is a very deeply personal story as it is based on fact and on my own impressions of how my friendship with this boy might have turned out, hence the title.
