Why do you think SETI has so far not found extraterrestrial radio signals?

It's because aliens don't exist.

They exist, but they don't use electromagnetic waves to send/receive media, or they only send/receive media via cable.

I think SETI probably is able to receive alien broadcasts, but they can't find the signals because they don't know what frequencies they use and they don't know how aliens would modulate the signals.

I think they know something but they're keeping quiet about it.

God put humans on other planets at the same time he put them on earth.

Humans started on another planet, but they later colonized earth so that's where we came from.

A higher extraterrestrial race other than God put humans on multiple planets.

I would not make that distinction.

I would only consider humans from earth to be human.

I would consider humans and only humanoids from other planets that are exactly like us to be human.

I would also consider humanoid aliens that have only one physical feature that differs from us to be humans.

I would consider humanoids to have a couple or only a few different physical features than us to be humans.

Here's a theoretical scenario: Earth becomes nearly unhinhabitable in the future so we travel to the 82 Eridani star system looking for a new planet to occupy. When we get there, we find a race of people that are genetically humans but with minor physical differences. They have a similar social structure as we do. What do you think we should we do?

Keep moving.

See if they would let us live in an unpopulated area of their planet.

Assess their military power and technology to see if we can take it from them and colonize them.

Introduce a foreign virus into their population so they die off, so we can have a new planet.
