Roommate Ettiquete

Were living in a house of 4, and our new housemate believes things must be done his way. So we were just wondering what you guys think. Feel Free to post comments, wed love to get feedback.
We just purchased cable TV. He refuses to help pay for it but continues to watch it. He believes that because its in the loungeroom he doesnt have to. What do you think?
He should pay for it
He should not pay for it
As an example il use the rubbish. If we ask him to take it out he will refuse. He believes we have to provide him with physical evidence (photos and such) proving he used it b4 he'll take it out. Should we have to provide evidence?
Yes
No
This is kinda a lead up question. We are always having arguments. However, we can never get through to him. His philosophy is that he is always right unless we can prove otherwise. Do you think this is reasonable?
Yes
No
When these arguments take place, we cant refer to previous arguments or other things hes said because he says were making it up. He would like us to either tape record any conversation we have, or to write it up in a written log immediately after and have him sign it to prove its correct. What should we do?
Record all conversations
We shouldnt have to keep records
Despite our requests not to, he likes to mess with the settings on our router/modem. When the Internet then dies, he goes to a friends house to use it, and leaves us to either call tech support to get it fixed, or tells us that he will fix it in 3 days (he claims he wants to see if it will fix itself). What should happen?
He should stop messing with settings
He should fix it immediately
He should do nothing, while we fix it
We should wait 3 days for him to fix it
Hes only been here a month, what should we do?
Nothing. Hes a good tenant
Get a new housemate
Strangle ourselves
New Question! He has a go at us for not using terms in their literal sense. We can not say 'run down to the shop' when we will be driving, and going west. As well as 'stealing cable' must be referred to as 'watching (which must become 'looking at the tv for longer than 10 seconds consecutively') without paying. Should we define everything? Please leave comments.
Yes
No
