Dumbledore made Harry swear to obey him when searching for the Horocrux. Because of this, Harry was forced to make Dumbledore drink the poisonous liquid. Do you think it is possible that Dumbledore and Snape had a similar agreement - that Snape would do whatever Dumbledore asked of him?

Taking the last question into account, how do you think Dumbledore intended "Severus, please..." up on the astronomy tower?

When Harry was chasing Snape, trying to kill him, Snape did not attempt to hurt Harry. Why?

1.)Because Voldemort told him not to.

2.)Because he knows Harry needs to live in order for Voldemort to be defeated.

3.)He was in too much of a hurry to actually duel with Harry.

4.)Both 1 and 3.

5.)Both 2 and 3.

Why did Snape shout things at Harry like - "Keep your mouth shut and your mind closed" when Harry was attacking him?

He was taunting Harry.

He was trying to teach Harry how to fight better.
