Iowa & N.H. Power in Picking President

Looking for the old results?
I've lived my life in New York and California, never missed voting, and never had a voice in choosing a presidential candidate. Every four years candidates and media spend attention on the Iowa Caucuses & New Hampshire Primaries. A Majority of candidates will drop out before they get to any races beyond New Hampshire. Do these two small states have too much power in choosing a president?
