Imagine this following situation. You are locked in a cement room with one other person. There is a gun and a note. The note says, "Neither of you may eat or drink anything, nor leave the cell, until one of you is dead: that is the purpose of the gun. There is only one bullet."
In this situation one of you must be killed for the other to survive. The note continues, "If neither one kills the other, you both die. The cell will not open until the sound from the gunshot is heard. If the gun is not shot the cell stays closed permanently with no food or water." In this situation what would you do.
