Domineering & sexually/mentally under-developed men?

I have noticed an excessive amount of polls asking if husbands or boyfriends would allow their wives/girlfriends to wear certain clothing, spend money without asking and similar types of ludicrous (not to mention childish) questions.
Youre obviously psychologically and/or physically damaged from some occurrence in your life so why would you pass on that abuse to your supposed loved one?
