Domineering & sexually/mentally under-developed men?

I have noticed an excessive amount of polls asking if husbands or boyfriends would “allow” their wives/girlfriends to wear certain clothing, spend money without asking and similar types of ludicrous (not to mention childish) questions.
You’re obviously psychologically and/or physically damaged from some occurrence in your life so why would you pass on that abuse to your supposed loved one?
•I had a hectic unorganized child hood and I NEED to have control over everything and every one as an adult.
•I have failed at most other things I’ve set out to do so I use my physical size and power to dominate a physically smaller person (wife/girlfriend) to make things run smoothly for me.
•I have a small “unit” and I feel inferior.
•My wife/ girlfriend is actually quite brilliant and her smartness terrifies me so I either beat or humiliate her and dumb her down to my level.
