Introducing legal policies regarding mandatory vasectomies may provide the solution not found in reoccurring debates on the many issues that arise around unplanned / unwanted pregnancies. Vasectomies are reversible and pose little to no health risks, the procedure takes approximately ten minutes and does not harm or impact sexual functions in anyway. Though this procedure is the safest and least expensive contraceptive option, vasectomies and reversals are currently least endeavored and promoted. With public interest the procedures involved would be further researched and developed and could offer a viable, reasonable alternative to potentially imposed pregnancy terms, over-populated orphanages (family-less children), and service of abortion would be largely unnecessary. With further input from the appropriate medical communities would you support a formal, public investigation of this option?
