What does it mean toyou to "Do the Right thing"?
"Doing the Right Thing" means doing what is best for:
Myself.
My friends and/or family.
My social group.
My country.
None of the above.
Do you believe that your religion reliably teaches "the right thing" in terms of moral conduct?
Just about always.
Most of the time.
Not very consistently.
I don't recognize any religion as "my own".
When faced with a choice of the Right Thing to do, how do you decide?
I ask "What would Jesus do?"
I explore my conscience.
I do what's in my best interest, and worry about the moral consequences later.
I feel that I instinctively know the Right Thing to do, in most cases.
How many people, when faced with a decision of what is the Right Thing to do, try do do the Right thing?
Everybody.
Just about everybody, except a few truly evil people.
Most people.
The world is split between those who do right and those who don't.
Most people are too selfish to do the right thing very often.
Nobody (except a few saints, maybe) is truly good.
Do you believe in Karma?
Yes.
No, but it works out that way in the long run anyway.
No, people who do good are just suckers and will never realize merit for it.
Were you a "good child" or a "bad child"?
Good.
Bad.
Which of the following do you expect and hope will be the attitude of your spouse? (Choose the one that is most important to you.)
Do whatever is necessary to get ahead.
Join the "right" club.
Live in the "right" neighborhood.
Obey the law, social rules, and religious moral teachings.
Treat every person with concern for their self-esteem.
Be considered a "nice guy" or "lovely lady" by social peers.
