The purpose of this poll is to find out if I should stop calling women "ma'am" because it makes them feel uncomfortable, though I use it only to show respect and not age.
What's your feeling about the word "ma'am"?
I hate all fake polite titles don't use any, ever.
I'm not old/married so "ma'am" is inaccurate.
It's a form of respect with no ties to age.
It's fine because I know you're just being polite.
"Miss" is just as bad.
It makes me feel uncomfortable and old. :(
