Many people think that if Ralph Nader had not run for president in 2000, Al Gore would be the president right now, not Bush because if only 1% of the people that had gone for Nader in Florida had gone for Gore instead, Gore would be president. Others think that Ralph Nader was not the reason Gore lost. But on 2/22/04 live on NBC's "Meet the Press" Nader annonced that he will be runnning for president in 2004, despite thousands of people, including many Green party people, asking him not to run.
