To indroduce myself briefly, I am a human resources manager at an art gallery. As part of the gallery's dress-code for male employees, I am required to wear a suit and tie while at work. While my clothing may not be the most comfortable, they provide the professionalism I think is representative of the gallery's public image. Of the women who work on the gallery floor (and who have the highest relations profile of all employees with respect to the public), they are required by code to wear nylons with their dress pants or skirt. Over the few years I've been with the gallery, I have received several requests to change that particular section of the dress-code, for various reasons usually related to comfort and hygiene. If you are a female employee and wear nylons on a regular basis, I would like to know your opinions on the issue. Thanks.
