Women in Rubber Gloves

Hi, I’m a homemaker and mother of three and I came across your poll and think I can relate. I wear rubber gloves almost every day for housework. I would say that I like wearing them and when people see me wearing them, I feel proud to show them off. I’ve never been in a situation where I wore them in public, though. My favorite kind are the Playtex yellow type with the long cuff. A few months ago I bought a pair of the same kind in a smaller size so that my 9 year-old daughter could help me with the dishes as part of her chores (I couldn’t help but notice that that was one of your questions.) She seems to have developed a similar attitude toward them and she looks just adorable while wearing them! I can’t help but think that they have strengthened our parent-child relationship. I’ve noticed she has become much more enthusiastic about helping me out with the housework since then. We now have some occasional afternoon fun tidying up with our rubber gloves on. So now, not only do I enjoy wearing them, but they’ve brought my family closer together!
