Bullying in schools

How about stopping bullies by punching them in the face?

That doesn't work anyway. What usually happened to me was that I would be the one to get in trouble. I even got in trouble for calling the bully names while he was bullying me! For some reason, teachers are completely oblivious to most bullying. I suppose that it might be easier to deal with the victims of bullying than the bullies themselves. Sort of like treating the symptoms rather than the disease because it is cheaper in the short term.

I wouldn't be suprised if many bullies bully you for exactly that reason, to get you in trouble! If you punch a bully in the face, you're probably letting them win. In any case, you're stooping to their level.

I find that most bullies are jocks, big dumb football players, and the like. I remember every day though highschool, how much I hated them. I believe that Jocks are the cause of most school shootings, and the only deserving victims of such attacks. Punching, hitting slapping, and otherwise physically harming these people is not stooping to their level, just defening yourself and others they may harrass. If you dont know the type of things that they do rent the movie "Bang Bang You're Dead" and you may start to gain part of the loating for these individuals that I have, and so many other people share. To stop bulling we need to stop glorifying the idiots who can barely get C's so they can continue to catch a ball, and start recognizing intelligence; give the morons a shovel and let them start digging ditches early since that is all they will ever amount to anyway.
