Should animals have the same rights as humans?
heya peeps just to let you know if you take this poll you can leave your messages here about what you think n stuff or if you want you can just say hi and i'll get back to yoo!
Some of the questions need different responses; one is the right to kill animals for their fur. In a survival situation, you will probably be forced to use the resources around you, including the animals. In an everyday situation, I would say that it would be unnecessary, but in a situation where you would probably die if you didn't use fur for warmth, I know that I would kill the animal, and you probably would too. so it needs a "depends on the situation" response.
Oh, and a comment for the people who believe that we shouldn't use animals for our food, the human race has been eating meat for thousands of years, we probably ate meat before language was invented, so to stop now, especially since animals are a renewable resource, would be pointless. Animals give us many different nutrients that cannot be found in plants, and eating synthetic food created in a lab is just weird...so I raise my steak to you, cheers!
........ yeah dude tell us what other purpose we humans have for the animals then?
damn vegans....... you dont like the fact people eat animals that were once living things well guess what dude
that salad you ate earlier? guess what.....it was alive too.. untill you stabbed it with a fork and drowned it in dressing and then viciously tore it to shreds with your teeth... plants are living things too... and even dirt is a living thing (it has cells and molecules and $%!@) that would die upon being eaten
if you dont want to eat living things, then don't eat at all... youll die.. dumbass
and no matter how many retarded vegans are out there you are not saving the lives of animals by not eating them... regardless ... the same ammount of animals are slaughtered and packaged and shipped to stores and resturaunts the farm animals are doomed regardless... you may as well eat them then............
I disagree. Dirt isn't living, or at least I don't think it is. Yeah, it has molecules, but it's basically crushed up rock, rotted plants, and worm poo. That's really beside the point, really. I don't think being a vegitarian is wrong, but I don't think it is wrong to eat meat, either. It's a prefernce. I agree with the guy who said that killing an animal for fur if you'll die otherwise, but other than that, it's not necessary. I also disagree with testing on animals. A lot of times, that doesn't even do any good, and the drug that is safe for animals is still dangerous to humans. I read somwhere online (I can't remember where) that a company tested to see if bleach is safe by taping open a bunny's eye and dripping bleach in it until it went blind. That's sick and unnecessary. So, I mostly think animals should have rights similar to humans.
