Lower Back Tattoos on Men

Only people with an honest appreciation for tattoos may post here. No shameless plugs for other polls or negative criticism...that stuff will be deleted. Immediately! AS I said, I know THAT puritanical point of view and opinion all too well.

Hey, you should go for the tattoo, it sounds different, it's good to be unique. you might get more attention if you get it done, but 90% of the attention would be from people admiring the work.

i have dark freckles tattooed on my neck,shoulders, upper back+chest and down both arms, i think they look really good. most people don't realise its a tattoo as they look really realistic and match the ones on my face so i dont get many comments. if i take my shirt off it's more obvious (as they stop quite suddenly) and then i get lots of looks/attention. i think its great to be a bit unusual.

i'm not gay and i don't go around judging/considering if other guys are straight or gay, it just doesn't matter, maybe there should be an option in the poll for this?

Now I love all tattoos, except for lower back ones. I just think those tattoos have too much of a main stream look to them now.

I'm a male straight, and plan to get a lower back tat (AKA "Tramp Stamp") for my 50th. I'm gonna get a rose. Why not? Sounds like fun!

I myself am a straight male, I got a lower back tattoo a couple years ago. Personally i got it because it was different than most, seeing how you don't see many guys with one. I have got a couple are you gay comments at waterparks or just where i have my shirt off in public. But more times than not people do look at the work more then the person. So yeah if thats what you want, it is your body no one else's and quite frankly who give a flying *$#& what the masses think about you. They will not make you you, only you can do that!
