Yes: Tamil is spoken in southern India and in Sri Lanka. Yoruba is spoken mainly in Nigeria. Aymara is a native language of Peru and Bolivia.

All of the languages are definitely real!

I think the Khoisan languages look interesting.

I was in Bolivia and Peru a couple of years ago, travelling overland. Most of them speak Quechua, which is pronounced kech-wa. Aymara is a similar native language. A few of the country folk do not even speak Spanish. Very few speak English, which is good because that means you have to learn their language. I have often tried to learn other languages. I speak a little Russian, French, German and a few words of Italian. It's a problem because learning from tapes and books is boring, and you do it for a while, but then you have a bad day at work and you skip a night. Then you miss another, and it collapses. This has happened to me numerous times. I guess the only way to truly learn a language is go and live there, and then, you have to speak it, no ifs, no buts. Best wishes to you.

Best language is Russian. There is some French buried in it so you can communicate a little in French which is spoken in many places. Russian is similar to languages spoken from the Italian border to Alaska. Korean has some Russian, for example. There are three words that you need is you travel. That is the English, Spanish, and Russian word for beer. If you can get beer you have a beverage with some nutrients and is safe to drink. Some words are very easy. TO which written that way in Cyrillac means "to". Backwards it becomes "OT". "OT" means "from". Easy? Hungry? Look for a "PECTOPAH". Think of an animal eating at pecking at something in its paw. Actually, if you can read it Russian is halfway to being learned. Btw "PECTOPAH" is pronounced "restoran".
