History of Genocides and Democides

Please do understand the purpose of this poll is to gather opinions on the causes of genocide. Senator John Edwards, to my knowledge, has not (as of yet) contributed to any major genocide or other heinous crime. Oh, and read up on Shiro Ishii (at the risk of your mental stability) to see how he truly compares to Josef Mengele. Ishii was abominable (so was J.M. but S.I. was probably worse).
