There are more holidays than just Christmas in December and in Winter. There's Hannukah, Kwanza, Ramadan, and Tet to think about. I am personally not offended when people wish me a "Merry Christmas" but I do think that it is Christian-centric to assume that the person celebrates Christmas and not any of the others.

Personnally, I'm annoyed as Hell when people wish me "Merry Christmas"! Sorry, I don't celebrate Visa and Mastercard's orgasm of the year. Any actual significance is due to Christians hijacking a pagan holiday. I might sound like a bitter Jew, but I'm sick of everyone assuming everyone else is Christian in December!

i totally agree with 'postmodernlolita'... i mean if i know the peson and know their relgion tht is a defferent story, but we can not assume that everyone we see is christian and celebrates christmas... also all these right wingers who say its Anti- Religion are wrong-- the worng Holiday come from 'Holy Day' and therefore encompasses ALL religions including Catholism...
