Pro Choice Answers Only!

No one is proabortion (unlike what the Christian right believes). If Christians truly believe that abortion is the murder of children, then no matter how much they hate it, no matter how much it goes againgst their beliefs, they need to stand for greater access for teens to birth control. Outlawing abortion doesn't work (we've already tried that little experiment). Many women would rather risk death than be forced to carry a child for nine months that they never wanted. I think all sides agree that abortion is tragic. The question is, do we care more about keeping abortions from needing to happen in the first place, or should the religious right just keep its head it the sand while many preventable abortions continue to take place because of their uncompromising beliefs?
