are you gay or straight? (men and women)

I can't seem to understand why America, is so obsessed with talking about Lesbians all of the time. You see to me, it doesn't matter if you are Gay, or if you aren't Gay...cause every person is the same from 1-99. It matters on the type of person that you are, & a person should not be judged on if they are Lesbian, or not Lesbian. It matters what you are like on the inside. No, I am not Gay, but I don't make fun of people who are Gay...I try to respect every person, the best way I know how to respect them.
