You must reside in an alternative universe.First,you assert an absurdity,with ni corroboration.You state that the press is predominantly Republican.You state that Nixon "smeared" Helen Douglass.Yeah,like he smeared that liberal icon,Alger Hiss.You accuse him of an incestious desire for his family.You slime!How dare you accuse ANYONE of smear tactics!You say that Nixon "ordered" Watergate.The evidence is to the contrary.His sin was the subsequent coverup.To expose another of your vicious lies,Nixon did NOT attack his mother's character.Au contraire,you friut of the colon,he called his mother a saint.I recommend that you brush up on history,ethics,logic,morality,and simple decency.Crawl back under the rock from which you slithered!

proud confederate, You're a very lively debater. I think you're mostly right about Nixon, too. He did quite a few things wrong, but I don't remember ever hearing that he "ordered" Watergate. The reason I included him was mostly due to his McCarthyism and his cover-up.

Lincoln was one of the greatest presidents... calling him evil is silly.... he was a great civil rights politicians.... a great president.... my parents are both Southerners, and i consider myself one, but they agree with me that Lincoln did great things for the country
