A little different Religion question

Need I say more? Good deeds only apply to those who know NOT Jesus.. Those who know him cannot fall upon good deeds to enter the kingdom of heaven. I'm sorry but the bible clearly states the above. I've been faced with figuring out if my childhood religion is actually the religion I want though I grew up with it and am comfortable with it. I now am a Christian apologetic... You might be, too!

So..... somebody who's not a xtian can get into heaven by being a good person/doing good deeds; but someone who is an ex-xtian would not, (even though he/she did good deeds)?! And some one who IS xtian could then do whatever they wanted basically (be a criminial, whatever), because you "know" Jesus. Either god is somekind of schizophrenic freak, or your interpretation of his word is a bit off.
