Quite Interesting

The last question was really quite interesting, and I believe there will be a turnaround as more christians vote. . .Who carried out the attack, believers or athiests?

Christians, most christians, see their faith as the only valid one, so to them, everybody else is atheist. . . . The issue here is, however, that Christianity is only valid to a christian.

I believe that man can hear god's voice, and that if I heard god's voice, I would obey -- but, I also believe that man is god. . . plants are god, rocks are god. I believe that all things were created from one being. . . and that to create all things, that one being gave of him/herself. . . to the point of non-existance, except within each of us.

I believe that within all things, sentient or not. . . exists a soul -- and that soul is divine. . . it is a portion of god. . . thus, we are all god.

In the words of Richard Chaimberlin. . . The only obstacle between us, and the realization of our own divinity, is ignorance.

What do you call that veiw you have? It seems a little like pantheism. You said "I believe that man can hear god's voice, and that if I heard god's voice, I would obey -- but, I also believe that man is god. . . plants are god, rocks are god.", if what you said is true, how in the world do you live? How would you respond to this scenario? Say a man told you to go rob this woman at the ATM machine, if what you said is true, you would have to listen to him, he would be god. So, let's say you do and you go up to the woman and take the money out of her hand and she screams "Stop!", from your point of view, she is also god, so you would have to listen to her as well. But let's say the man who told you to rob her was watching says "Hey! What are you doin?! Grab the money and let's go!" so, since he is god, you listen and obey, but, then the lady screams "Stop, give me my money!" and so, since she is god, you listen....and on and on and on..... LOL I know that this would never happen. Please note, I am not trying to be mean, I am just trying to show you how crazy things would get if you lived consistently with what you say you believe. I would love to find out more about what you believe, so please email me. Also, any one who might have questions about Christianity, please email me too. My email address is Apologetics_chris@hotmail.com By the way, I am a Christian.
