For taking pictures of my friends and things like that, I prefer digital so I don't waste film on casual snapshots that don't turn out. But when I'm doing art photography I like to be able to play with the lens and the focus and the color, and it's just a much more intimate process. Besides, digital really can't compare with 35mm when it comes to the quality of the image.
