Just about all my best friends are from internet message boards.
I do not find it easy to "make friends" in real life. People tend to take against me when they first meet me - but those that make the effort all say they're glad they gave me a chance to show that first impreesions can be wrong, because in my case they WERE wrong.
Internet friendships work the other way. People get to see what you write and learn all about the sort of person you are before tehy ever get to meet you - and then those "first impressions" don't really matter. By teh time I get to meet my internet friends, most of them probably couldn't care less if I had three heads, a green skin, and spoke only in Serbo-Croat with a pronounced lisp.
Me two. I only have one good friend in real life, and 7 online friends. it's easier for me tomake freinds online.
