Barefoot at home - simple question
We have only one footwear rule in our house - everybody must change from dirty outdoor shoes. I can go barefoot, with socks only or wear clean home slippers or my indoor P.E. trainers. I believed that this rule is common and normal everywhere. But last year I visited a one friend of mine. We come to his flat from school together, we both took of our shoes and he took of his socks too. I asked him why was he barefoot and he replied that it is compulsory rule for all children in his family. I wondered. He said they did not mind. "We must wash our sweaty feet and stayed in bare feet. From hygienic reasons." I asked him why they cannot to take on some clean socks after washing and he said that no reasons for making this socks dirty.
I agree with your friend. Why put on more socks, makes more washing!
