Creationism VS. Evolutionism

much of the bible speaks in parables. It needs to be understood that these were written to teach people who had no education about the universe and how it came to be. People could not comprehend how long a thousand years was let alone a million years. How would you explain evolution to a child? Probably much the same way the bible explains it!
