Why Gamecube?

Yes, I like the gamecube. Yes, I prefer it to the X-Box. I like it the same as the PS2. Reasons I like it... Hoh boy... It's small [Currently trying to figure out where the hell I can set up my x-box. It's a matter of footprint size rather than height right now] I like mario games [Not as much as sonic if going for the 2d ones, but it made the transition to 3d better] I like zelda games [Eh, nice action game ] Metriod Prime [hehe... I know people who own one primarially for this reason ^^] Other exclusive games [eg Eternal Darkness and SSBM. It'll also have the first Jeff Minters console game for years in the non-too-distant future] I like the controllers [Eh, well, technically I do. The z button sucks, yes, and the d-pad is way too small, but other than that it's great. Other than the positioning of the black and white buttons on the original x-box controller I love that as well. Can't stand the ps2 controller, though] It has better graphics than PS2 [Eh, technically it's probably the weakest contender hardware wise, but it's supposed to have some graphical tricks up it's sleave that can out-perform the ps2. Haven't looked up a comparison of the actual specs] other - fun list, this. GBA player - And thus I don't need to put up with a smaller screen than I like, nor do I need to put up with neck strain... Some of the... Odd... Eastereggs in the system hardware... Alot of Nintendo-made gcn games have relatively low turn arounds between the US and UK. There are one or two exceptions to this, of course, but anyway. It has the best in-house games of all the consoles. FF:CC Link up features with some GBA games. Supposedly the easiest of the three to develope for.

And that's all I can think of right now. To be honest, I feel that now-adays all three consoles are worth getting for the exclusives. And as for controlers the only reason I ranked the psx's controler as being better than the n64's is that... Well... The n64's seems to assume you have three hands.

Nintendo just rules. It always does something different. Unlike Playstation which is unoriginal, unchanging, crap. Just keeping it real.
