I will say superman would obliterate goku as evidenced by supermans's accomplishments:) Fore example he has:flown to the edge of the universe in seconds. He has turned back time. Held a black hole in the palm of his hands. Broken space and time with a single punch ( the universe would collapse if that really happened). Flown so fast he broke space and time and nearly punched God in the face. He has fought gods and Arch angels and won. He has BLown out stars like candles. Destroyed galaxies by sneezing and creating galaxies out of practically nothing. suvived being stabbed with kryptonite and thrown into a red star. Now goku couldn't hold up a sky scraper with his hands without the help of his family and that was in ssj4 mode. I would also like to point out it takes goku 4 episodes to begin the "real fight" because he has this dumb retarded speech before hand that takes forever. He has also died more times than superman and he bleeds really easy (just about every fight)

Now seeing how you are the father and you are probably cheering for superman tell your son that there is a reason there are no new DBZ's on tv any more is because Goku/DBZ/DBGT is poorly drawn,poorly written, halfbaked japanese version of superman and that is we call Copyright infringement.

Im replying to you. U said DBZ poorly writen or drawn...Its exceptionally better drawn than any supes cartoons. Also story? Thats a friggin laugh. Superman is the WORST story writing ever. One time he punched soo fast this happened, another time he gets knocked around by Lobo and Doomsday who have ZERO superspeed. yea, hes real fast. One time Lois Lane cut his hair and he lost powers, but yet his hair is sooo strong that it can hold how much weight...? thats sum great story telling full of awesome plot holes. Supermans powers changed all the time depending on which writer was working on him and decided to give sum new power or ability that day to help him in his situation. Thats not good writing, its actually very bad.

DBZ is a REAL story which is why it ended. Every story has a beginning MIddle and End. DBZ has this, Supes doesnt. Sure Supes has smaller arcs, but their not that good. Akira wanted to end DB at Freeza. So look at the Story up until Freeza. Throughout ALL of Dragonball theres a mystery to Goku and his superstrength, his tail, his ability to transform into a Giant Ape. In the beginning of DBZ, we find out hes actually an Alien, as is Piccolo. Piccolo becomes good. Goku discovers his real name, fights his long lost brother and the prince of his people. Piccolo returns to his Homeworld and confronts the villain who destroyed it. Vegeta reveals the truth of his life and their planet's fate. Also the fate of their fathers. Goku accepts his sayian Pride and fights the universal tyrant who killed his father and people also Vegeta and PIccolos people, a supreme evil that has slaughtered Billions across the universe. He becomes the legend that is Super Sayian.

You, see thats an amazing story. Everything from DB thru Freeza all lead to Freeza. This shadow in the background, this Villain that is tied into the main characters lives and histories. Everything built and led up to that one conflict. Superman NEVER had an arc anywhere NEAR that level. An arc with a villain so involved in not just himself, but his people and his closets friends and greatest rivals histories as well. So u wanna compare any superman arc to the story from beginning to Freeza, he has none. This is in terms of Stroytelling.

In terms of powers and such, like a Battle, Goku wins easily, hands down. I also have to proof backing me. U wanna take me on bonesboy08 then u bring it, just dont cry when u land supes oose.
