What would you wear for a dinner date?

This poll has been inspired by several other polls on the subject of gender equality in fashion. Both men and women have voiced their dissatisfaction with being expected to wear particular clothes under some rules of etiquette or gender stereotype. Most messages demand the right to choose any style of clothes without repercussions. What I would like to find out is if you had that right, what would you choose to wear in a given situation – in this case a romantic dinner date.
