YOUR RELIGION

Life has many paths, Eternity only two

Which is your choice?

Jesus says, I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by me.

If there is any dispute, then one must not believe in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. I am not intolerant, but I am aware of our responsibility to share the Gospel message of Salvation and Eternal life to all peoples, races, nations and creeds until the return of the Lord. If you choose not to believe, your choice is made.

Are you proposing that anyone who does not believe in Jesus Christ or know the Scriptures is bound for Hell? What about people who've never heard of Jesus Christ? Or those who are good people but are devout practitioners of other religions? Or those who spend their entire lives in compassionate service to mankind, but are not Christian? If God is just and loving, which I believe He/She is, [actually I don't assign gender, personally], then I can't see how the fate of eternal damnation would be possible for these people. The measure of how closely a person is connected to God is found in their heart, not in their mind or belief system. GOD=LOVE, therefore, anyone, ANYONE, regardless of their religion or lack thereof, who has a loving heart is automatically at Home with God. I happen to be a Christian, and draw much of my spiritual strength from understanding (or trying to understand), the sacrifice Jesus made for people, as well as the divine love and wisdom He possessed. But that's what works for ME. It was how I was raised and what I feel comfortable with. But I also believe that nearly EVERY religion (with the exeption of nonsense like Satanism, etc.) is a true and completely viable path to God. Christianity is no GREATER or LESSER than Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, or Hinduism, or many other of the world's great religions. (Excluding nonsense like Satanisn, etc.) And if someone chooses to discount God and religion entirely, FINE. As long as they adhere to some sort of moral code and be the best person that they can be, they are, whether they believe or not, still in God's good graces. God doesn't have an ego. He/She doesn't get "offended" if one does not believe in Him/Her, and cast them down into the fiery pits of Hell. To think so is to truly misunderstand God's nature. Christians (I say Christians because I have noticed this disturbing trend in many of them) need to wake up from their dogma induced slumber, get off their high horses, and realize that their way is definitely A way, but not the ONLY way.

Thank you.

Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe Jesus didn't actually SAY all those things that are in the bible, since the gospels were written by biased theocrats fifty years after his death who each were trying to write the gospel in such a way as to justify their particular religious domination?
