well there is sin then there is sin. well all sin has to be paid for to adultely to cursing to many many other sins.all but two sin the blood of Jesus covers who believes in him.this blasphiemsof the holy ghost and mark of the beast on you body(666).this is the only two sin Jesus choice not to forgive.we need to repent of the sins as we live for Jesus we give are selves to Jesus to clean us from all are sins.as we learn and trust in Jesus.God is cleaning us up threw the blood of Jesus.when he die on the cross he had you and me on his mind.he died for us so we may live for him.

Well micheal, I agree with you.Though I did find it interesting when reviewing the polls concerning sin,the majority voted "no" on all questions concerning the identity of sin.

First of all, let me state for the record,that we are all born into sin or (original sin). We,(men/women) are Bar-adam, son adam. We are born of the lineage of adam and eve, the folks responsible for the fall of humanity.

So we are born into this world as sinners from the get go. What is important is, what we do with ourselves in the interim. (bwtn.life and death)

SMOKING

I do believe that smoking is a sin. My point of view is based not so much from a political conservative view, but the consequences of smoking. The long term physical effects, not only on the smoker but those near or around the smoker(second hand smoke kills as well).

DRINKING

Let's get real people.drinking also kills. (of course anything in excess can be lethal, eg: large doses of sugar can over a period of time may increase your chances of becoming a type II diabetic).

Interestingly enough,when alcohol is broken down,the body stores the complex sugars or insulin.Insulin in large proportions cannot be healthy.Looking at alcohol consumption,can also have lethal effects (I know I don't have to remind anyone the dangers of abuse,eg: liver damage, and also the stupidity of driving a car/truck while driving)

PRE-MARTIAL SEX

If you don't know by now that sex before marriage isn't a sin,I suggest you sit down and read the bible and focud on what the bible says about sex before marriage! Not only are you flirting with disaster,you might end up impregnating someone you have no intention of marrying,or for that matter,date.

CONCLUSION

If what I said offends you,perhaps a survey of the question of sin should expand upon sin from a secular world view versus sin from the biblical world view.

Take this into account; sex is a sin and you are sinning against yourself(own body)when you do. Sex is a unity between two people and it should be held sacred for it is a part of marriage santification.

And btw, I'm a modernist. My kind was excommunicated in the 19th century for not completely believing in what the bible said. I also have distant reletives who were nazis, gay friends, a $lutty friend, a couple athiest friends, I cuss alot, smoke, drink, I'm lazy, envious, and I lust after that which I can't have. According to the Catholic church, I'm doomed to hell, so calling me sacreligious or something of that sort isn't going to work.

I used to be Catholic, until I realized the hipocracy of what they were telling me. How homosexuality is wrong, but the priests $%!@ alterboys. Greed is wrong, but the pastor came driving up in a really expensive car. The bible contradicts itself. I saw an unmarried priest buying condoms, smokes, and beer. The two most religious kids I knew were gay (one may've been bi). I went to CCD classes and was beaten with a ruler for not paying attention because I was sat next to my friends and I was 7.
