I think this poll was B.S. because I am the enemy of wicca and I think you should leave room to hear our views in your total bias poll. Why don't you try listening to views other then your own?

You're welcome to express your views here on this board, Ms. self-proclaimed enemy of Wicca. You have the floor--put more into your points than empty complaints that don't tell us anything. If you have an opinion, say it--don't whine about it.

What about all the polls that ask about Christianity, hm? Isn't it the exact same thing? This poll was made to ask Wiccans about their beliefs. If you don't like it, no one asked you to take it.

Dear Lisa, why are you hate Wicca? I'm not a Wiccan (I'm Jewish), but every Wiccan I've ever met has been nothing but kind and open-minded (something I wish that more members of orthodox religions would learn to be). Wicca is European shamanism, a return to the roots of the ancestoral religion for many people. It is not devil worship (the devil is a Christian invention, taken from Zoroastorism). You should educate yourself on others' beliefs before you condemn them.

How is it a threat? Wiccans have never been shy about their beliefs that all humans possess the potiential to practice magic. Wiccan magic is not the exageratted $%!@ you see in Hollywood movies.

The Magic Wiccans practice is in the form of spiritual energy. We believe that only those who are pure in heart and soul can practice this magic.

Satanists and other Witches practice magic too, but they have different morals. They see nothing wrong with using magic for personal gain without respect for others. They use magic soley for selfish purposes, and even to cast curses and hexes on people.

Yet Christians think Wiccans are the evil ones? In fact, Satanists hate us as much as they hate Christians. They have even inverted the Penticle, our most sacred symbol, to represent Satan. In the same way they inverted the Cross, the most sacred symbol in Christianity.

As a Wiccan, it sickens me that the world hates us so when we are the ones standing against the abuse of magic. Not only do we have to put with Christians who claim we worship the devil, and people who in general detest witchcraft, but we must also put up with those who do participate in our craft, with evil intentions at heart.

Wicca is a peaceful religion, but not all witches are in fact good.
