I don't know about Europe, but I met an Ecuadorian lady who told me that it is done there, too. I've had some Mexican friends who have reported it as well.

I know two South American women, both now living in the US. Although only one is married to an American, both have exchanged birthday spankings with their husbands since coming to this country.
