Religion and Your Life

I would just like to know why are Muslims hated, I'm a Muslim and everytime I walk into a store someone stares at me or talks about to thier friend or whatever. I still want to know "Why are Muslims hated"?. When I was taking the poll, I seen that many people wasn't voting for Muslims. I seen 4 votes for Muslims why didn't anyone pick a Muslim, If someone know the answer please reply when you can. Thanks, Suhaylah.

I don't hate anyone, but I do hate the Muslim religion more than I hate other religions. While other religions are usually peaceful, the Muslim religion tells Muslims they should use violence against "infidels" and "heretics". It tells Muslims they will be rewarded in the afterlife for murder of "infidels". Muslim beliefs and practices are forced upon the citizens of all predominantly Muslim countries, whereas most countries of other religions allow at least some degree of religious freedom, often a great deal of freedom.

Just because only 4 voted Islam doesn't mean a thing. Now when you have lunatics like Osama bin Laden running amuck, then you can expect dirty looks. Same for Christians with David Koresh.

No, they accused Asama Bin Laden, as soon as they herd of him, about him being a Muslim and been a tare rest before, doesn't mean they should of just said: Since Asama Bin Laden is a tare rest he destroyed the World Trade Center. They have no proof he did it, they just accused him because he is a Muslim, That’s why they said Asama Bin Laden did that.

Suhaylah, Muslims have a very serious public relations problem, for lack of a better word.

Muslims were responsible for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Then we see Muslims dancing in the streets in celebration. We see Saddam Hussein offering money to the families of suicide bombers. What we don`t see are the vast majority of peaceful Muslims who condemn all the violence that is associated with their religion.

Most westerners have very little knowledge of what Islam really stands for. And many of those who do tend to believe it\s followers don\t practice what they preach.

While I don`t subscribe to any religion, I recognize the fact that many people do and they are very passionate about their beliefs. I hate terrorists regardless of their religious beliefs. It just so happens that many of these terrorists happen to be Muslims.
